In Canada I finished Foothills College of Massage in 2005.
Then I took initial courses in Shiatsu, Myofascial Release, Visceral Manipulation and CranioSacral Therapy - and that opened a whole new world of possibilities for healing, based on precise science of Osteopathy.
To this day I continue to study. I am intrigued by fascia (connective tissue) and keep exploring its many faces and functions. As a major movement conductor in the body, fascia serves as the body memory both physically and emotionally.
Wishing to introduce more movement and mobilization, I took my first course in Thai Massage – and Thai Massage became an important tool for a lot of my treatments. The wisdom of whole body treatment using simple but ingenious ancient techniques allow clients achieve another dimension of healing, bringing the body and psyche to a self-healing mode.
Still being intrigued by the belly – the emotional brain of our body – I took my first course in Chi-Nei-Tsang - and this added new power to Visceral Manipulation techniques. Using Qigong breathing, the clients release their tension, energetic blockages and emotional memories.
And always continuing study of CranioSacral Therapy – gentle and very precise way of creating body self-awareness and releasing deep tensions by allowing the body to relax and self-correct, and in this way improving the function of the central nervous system.
I am very grateful to all my mentors, colleagues and friends, and most of all to my clients, who are always my best teachers.
With deep knowledge and trust that I cannot fix anybody, but everyone can heal themselves, I am only providing a safe space and facilitating the healing process by encouraging body-mind-spirit communication and self-awareness.
this list is ongoing... I never stop learning.
